Art takes time. We have A LOT of time. Founded in 2010 by Sam Parthemore, Thunder Bear Art Studio is the creative outlet for a group of skilled inmates. 30 years behind walls expanded Sam's view of the outside world in ways that most of us can't imagine. After a number of requests, Sam began teaching others his trade. Thunder Bear Art Studio provides a creative outlet for good people who stumbled upon bad things.
Feel free to browse the site and if you are interested in any of the paintings, please let us know. If you have any special requests, we'd be happy to do those as well. Proceeds from this site are used to purchase new equipment and supplies, call loved ones, and donations to various charities.
